At Hawk Eye Elementary School Media Center, our mission is to cultivate a deep-seated passion for reading and a natural curiosity that cultivates exceptional academic performance, self-directed reading and learning, and cooperation across the entire school community. We aim to ensure that students have equal access to various learning materials that embrace the vibrant and varied culture we enthusiastically embody.

Hoke County Schools and the Hoke County Public Library are partnering to support students’ ongoing education. We share the belief that a love of books and learning is a strong foundation for student success and we are working together to provide every Hoke County Schools student with access to books and resources found at their public library through NC Cardinal.

*If you do not want your child to have access to library materials, you may opt-out. See the opt-out form below and sign and return it to the Hoke County Public Library. Be aware that students who opt out of StudentAccess will not be able to participate in classroom use of library resources unless they have a Hoke County Public Library card and know the full card number and PIN.

NC Kids Digital Library Website
The NC Kids Digital Library is a stand alone digital collection that will provide access to Children’s and Teen ebooks, audiobooks, and videos for all children in North Carolina. Exclusive content for kids ages birth-17 years including over 10,500 eBook titles (mostly juvenile fiction, juvenile literature, and juvenile nonfiction), over 2,500 audiobook titles, and 750 video titles. There are more than 1,400 titles that are always available to checkout. There are over 2,000 picture book titles that allow you to listen to a professionally recorded narration while you read highlighted text.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT…You must choose the LIBRARY SYSTEM we are a member of which is the SANDHILL REGIONAL LIBRARY SYSTEM.
